A Student's life in RP - using technology

Technology comes in many forms . In RP, technology actually comes in various forms like using laptops for daily lesson and using of wireless connection for accessing websites for validation of works and researching of resources.

All Students from RP need to purchase a laptop in order for them to do their daily worksheet, reflection journal, doing of the power point slides, checking of emails and submitting of the works that the students have done in the day.
We all used wireless network for the internet connection which mainly allow us to do all our research, sending and receiving emails and work/resources between team mates and also using website to validate the things that we have done, for example , we need to go to certain website to validate the website that we have created for the web multimedia classes for SIT's students.

We also make use of the wireless network to present the our presentation instead of using the wired wire for the screening of the Powerpoint slides. Another thing is that we also make use of connecting to the school's wireless internet to do our Understanding Test.

Wireless network can also be used not just in class but also in various places like the canteen, library, the Agora halls and also mainly all those hot spots that RP have, we can also use our laptops if we are in the wireless hot spot area.

The news below is also stating about the wireless hot spots in RP.
Republic Polytechnic is proud to be part of the new Education Wireless Integrated Network (EDUWIN), an initiative by Institutes of Higher Learning (IHL) to link up their wireless hotspots.
This project allows students from one Institute to be able to connect to the internet even when they are on another Institute's campus.
